About

Creating dioramas is an old art form that was popularized in the 19th century as a form of theater. Dioramas were often used to create 3D depictions of historic events and places.

As a self representing artist Christine's unique and varied artistic talents focus on the design and creation of miniature dioramas with a focus on the simplicity of everyday life. Whether it be a sunny day at the beach, camping out in the woods, going to a drive-in movie or peering into the windows of a city tenement building to see what is inside, her wide variety of subject matter never fails to pull the viewer in where they can get lost in their own memories and reflections. Christine is part story-teller, builder of worlds, illustrator and photographer as she continues to explore the many facets of her medium.

Christines studio is located on a mountainside in the foothills of the Catskills in New York. Here surrounded by the beauty of nature and wildlife she enjoys her mountain home with her husband Ted and their many pets. Her artwork is displayed in galleries and private collections worldwide.
