A beautiful handmade wood violin rests upon old books and papers in this framed still life diorama. Other objects are a glass bottle with a drink nearby, a couple of apples, a candle and a birds feather in a vintage brass inkwell. Apples and leaves are clay and feather is from my pet starling. This piece offers a relaxed feeling to the viewer. There is a soft LED light illuminating from above. The on/off button is on top of the frame and there is a pouch in the back of the frame for storing the 9volt battery it uses. Frame measures 11"wide x 9"high x 2 3/4" deep. It is fixed on the back for hanging but would look equally as nice sitting on a shelf.
